Connecting Vaulters
Luxembourg is one of the smallest vaulting nations, but they are doing a great job to be able to compete at an international stage sometimes. We have talked to Laura Thill, member of the only vaulting team in Luxembourg „Volti-Team Lëtzebuerg“ about their plans and progress.
The last day of these FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2018 Tryon was full of excitement and tension with three vaulting finals and medals ceremonies: Germany and France won the gold medals after a very tight competition in all categories.
The brilliant Pas De Deux Silvia Stopazzini and Lorenzo Lupacchini from Italy moved everybody yesterday night at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon: Apparently, they didn’t expect to reach the gold medal but they actually made history for their country, being the first Italians to reach it at FEI World Equestrian Games™ with a final score of 9.027, and after a very high level battle with the other competitors. Their samba/salsa energizing routine was perfectly executed on their beautiful horse Rosentolz 99 lunged by Laura Carnabuci.
The second day of the FEI World Equestrian Games in Tryon 2018 was all about freestyle, with its emotions, surprises and bad luck as the first ever Nations Team Championship (Nations Cup) took place. Here is an overview of what happened for the competing nations.
