A promising weekend was ahead of around 200 participants, speakers and organizers at Altleiningen Castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top-class ensemble of former top athletes, judges, doctors and trainers offered workshops on current and sport-specific topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The entire program was aimed not only at vaulters, but also at trainers and prospective judges. There were both theoretical introductions and practical parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Daniel Kaiser<\/strong> (vaulting trainer, MOVIE<\/a>, sports journalist) gave lectures in his interactive workshops including MOVIE and video analysis about the way to the correct handstand, about high dismounts (Salto & FlickFlack), swings – technique and support, the scissors – methodically working out and varying as well as the mount – detailed work on the complex movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frauke Bischoff<\/strong> (diploma in sports science) let the participants really work up a sweat in her workshops. In four active units, she offered a wealth of ideas about core training in a playful way, hard core training for hardcore vaulters, how to properly design a thematic freestyle and how expression training can be integrated into everyday training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Physiotherapist and master teacher Roos Hanemaaijer-Slottje<\/strong> gave coaches tips on how to achieve a high quality training. Her workshops were entitled: “Improve your vaulters efficiently” and “Get better results with fewer instructions”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jasmin Gipperich<\/strong> (sports management and vaulting trainer level B) offered workshops on basic training for athletes. Her subject areas were coordination and sensorimotor training, taping and the use of the BlackRoll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the workshops given by Arnd Helling<\/strong> (mental trainer & coach \/ trainer DVNLP), Gunda Haberbusch<\/strong> (sports mental trainer) and Mathias Klein<\/strong> (game and experience pedagogue), the participants learned how coaches and athletes can remain mentally strong and develop a good team spirit. The focus was on the motto “we win” and dealing with fear as well as self-confident and concentrated lunging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Barbara Link<\/strong> (occupational therapist and vaulting trainer level B) gave a lecture as part of the team community about “behavioral children in vaulting sport”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another topic was the well-being of our horses in vaulting. Veterinarian for horses Dr. Augusto Fernandez Vergano<\/strong> informed about illicit medication and the correct course of the vet check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In her interactive workshops, Kerstin Bock<\/strong> (trainer in equestrian sport) showed the goal-oriented work on the lunge with individual problem solving on the horse, the creation of training plans for vaulting horses to prepare for the competition and the interaction of equestrian training and lunge training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Achim Reusch<\/strong> (veterinarian) spoke about the vaulting surcingle and horse health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those interested in judging also had the opportunity to continue their training. Leo Laschet<\/strong>, general practitioner and head of the vaulting specialist committee of the German Judges Association, spoke on the question “Why not become a judge” and on the psychology of judging. He also held a workshop on “Freestyle design – in harmony with the horse?”, a very current subject that will certainly become even more important in the future, if only from the point of animal welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Saturday evening Dr. Dennis Peiler<\/strong>, Managing Director of Sports at the German Equestrian Federation (FN) and former top vaulter, spoke on the development of vaulting. Animal welfare was an important aspect as well as the weight load during the freestyle, and the possibility that vaulting could become part of the Youth Olympic Games<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Friday at 3 p.m. there was a conference opening by Felix Bender, the 1st chairman of “Der Voltigierzirkel e.V.<\/a>“, who organized and held the conference. In this context, Mathias Klein gave all visitors an impulse about the success factor “We win”, which was the guiding principle for this weekend. The first workshops in the riding hall, the gym and various conference rooms of the castle then began with great motivation. The dinner together rounded off the first day with exciting discussions in a small group and a subsequent general meeting of “Der Voltigierzirkel e.V.”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Saturday, the fully booked workshops were in full swing and the schedule spanned the whole day. Participants and speakers exchanged their knowledge and came across new perspectives, in which new ideas emerged. Saturday ended with a fun evening program to which all participants were invited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sunday morning the last sessions took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The closing on Sunday was the Sch\u00f6nfelder impulse, presented by the Stiftung Deutscher Voltigiersport in cooperation with “Der Voltigierzirkel e.V.”. During a discussion, Leo Laschet discussed with Dr. Markus Merk, former 3-time world referee in football, and Josef Rink, hiker on the Way of St. James, on how we can manage not to be stopped by setbacks and make the right decisions under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The weekend ended on Sunday afternoon with a lot of new inputs and new suggestions. The vaulting symposium offered a high level of vaulting-specific content to improve vaulting training in your own club and the opportunity to further strengthen the vaulting community and make new contacts and maintain old contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Information and impressions from Pia Honig (active participant) and Felix Bender (1st chairman of the Voltigierzirkel e.V.<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Vor zwei Wochen fand die Voltigiertagung in Altleiningen statt. Ihre Workshops liefen unter dem Titel: \u201eVerbessere Deine Voltigierer effizient\u201c und \u201eErziele bessere Ergebnisse mit weniger Anweisungen\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jasmin Gipperich<\/strong> (Sportmanagement und Trainer-B-Voltigieren) bot Workshops rund um das Basistraining von Sportlern. Ihre Themenbereiche lagen in Koordination und sensomotorisches Training, Tapen sowie dem Einsatz der BlackRoll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wie Trainer und Sportler mental stark bleiben und einen guten Teamgeist entwickeln k\u00f6nnen, lernten die Teilnehmer in den Workshops von Arnd Helling<\/strong> (Mentaltrainer& Coach\/Lehrtrainer DVNLP), Gunda Haberbusch<\/strong> (Sportmentaltrainerin) und Mathias Klein<\/strong> (Spiel- und Erlebnisp\u00e4dagoge). Schwerpunkte lagen auf dem Motto \u201edas Wir gewinnt\u201c und Umgang mit Angst sowie selbstbewusstes und konzentriertes Longieren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Barbara Link<\/strong> (Ergotherapeutin und Trainer-B-Voltigieren) gab im Rahmen der Teamgemeinschaft einen Vortrag \u00fcber \u201everhaltensoriginelle Kinder im Voltigiersport\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ein weiteres Themengebiet war das Wohl unserer Pferde im Voligiersport. Fachtierarzt f\u00fcr Pferde Dr. Augusto Fernandez Vergano<\/strong> informierte \u00fcber unerlaubte Medikation und den korrekten Ablauf der Verfassungspr\u00fcfung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kerstin Bock<\/strong> (Trainerin im Pferdesport) zeigte in ihren interaktiven Workshops die zielorientierte Longenarbeit mit individueller Probleml\u00f6sung am Pferd, das Erstellen von Trainingspl\u00e4nen f\u00fcr Voltigierpferde zur Wettkampfvorbereitung und das Zusammenspiel reiterlichen Trainings und Longentrainings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Achim Reusch<\/strong> (Tierarzt) referierte \u00fcber den Voltigiergurt und die Pferdegesundheit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Auch f\u00fcr Interessierte des Richtens gab es die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich fortzubilden. Leo Laschet<\/strong>, Facharzt f\u00fcr Allgemeinmedizin und Leiter des Fachausschuss Voltigieren der Deutschen Richtervereinigung, referierte \u00fcber die Frage \u201eWarum nicht Richter werden\u201c und \u00fcber die Psychologie des Richtens. Zudem hielt er einen Workshop \u00fcber die “K\u00fcrgestaltung – im Einklang mit dem Pferd?\u201c, ein sehr aktuelles Thema, das in Zukunft sicher noch wichtiger werden wird, schon allein unter dem Aspekt Tierschutz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Am Samstagabend referierte Dr. Dennis Peiler, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Bereich Sport der Deutschen Reiterlichen Vereinigung (FN) und ehemaliger Spitzenvoltigierer, \u00fcber die Entwicklung des Voltigierens.
