Team Fredenbeck is one of the top teams in Germany and internationally at the moment. They won the squad competition at CHIO Aachen 2019<\/a> and CHIO Aachen 2018<\/a> and are the current German champions to be challenged next weekend at the German Championship 2019 in Alsfeld. Read on to get to know the team and the formula for their success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

1. Describe your team with three words.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Character, expressionist, team spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Please introduce your current team members.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We consist of 6 team members. There are 3 boys and 3 girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viktor (Vik): 29 years, self-employed, individual vaulter, in the team since 2018, stayer, class clown and compulsory battles winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malte (M\u00f6lli): 24 years, student, in the team since 2016 with interruption, base, creative mind and organizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kevin (Kevo): 26 years, building engineer, in the team since 2015, stayer, powerhouse and motivator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kathrin (Karin): 18 years old, student, individual vaulter, in the team since 2019, gymnast, elegance bringer and ground jump queen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mila (Milusch): 14 years, student, in the team since 2019, gymnast and flyer, movement artist and is never afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mirja (Mary): 10 years, student, in the team since 2017, flyer, expressive and swings to handstand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gesa (Coach): 34 years old, assistant tax consultant, lunger, ground crew, boss, perfectionist, creative and ambitious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How often do you practice? And what?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We train three times a week. Twice a week on the horse. And once a week strength training in addition. Everybody has their own training plan that they do three times a week. The horse is also ridden several times a week.
We mainly practice endurance, full-body strength, agility and our programs (compulsory, freestyle). We also train expression and do mental training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. How did you come together as a team?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After we decided to let our Winnie out of the big sport after the German championship, also 2 team members left off. We did not reunite until the end of October and filled the team with new members. We were lucky enough to have good and experienced vaulters from the junior team. Kathrin Meyer also contacted us at the same time. Due to the restructuring we needed some time to adjust the new team to the new horse. But it quickly became clear that the new team was a great match. We do a lot together in our free time and fit together great in character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Was it always your goal to be successful in elite sports?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The core of this team began as a canter-walk group, with Gesa as a team vaulter, too. When Gesa was 18 years old, we were in the German level L, Gesa had to leave the team and took over the coach and lunging positions. In the following years, we were very diligent and continued to rise year after year. Gesa went to the school in Hohenhameln meanwhile to get her coaching certificates (Trainer A-Leistungssport). In the years 2009-2011 we were allowed to represent the Hanoverian colors at the M-Cup. Since the 2012 season we compete as an S-Team and since then have been able to qualify as a team for the German Championships every year. For the first two years in Alsfeld and Verden, our Wizaro had some more to do with the atmosphere. In 2015, we first showed ourselves internationally with our “crime scene freestyle” (CVI *** Esbjerg \/ Denmark 1st place) and also got the bronze medal at the German Championships in Alsfeld. Due to injuries of vaulters and the horse in 2016 and 2017, the seasons were a bit mixed. The year 2018 was then unique. As you can see, it has developed with us. It was not always the goal, but especially in the last few years, we were already focused on the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. What are your current goals?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This season we wanted to build on our old success as equal as possible and show that we were not a flash in the pan. In addition, we would like to be a traditional club over the next few years, which can always play at the top. Moreover, we also want to concentrate on individual vaulting in the junior sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. What was your funniest \/ most beautiful experience together?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In any case, this includes the victories at CHIO Aachen 2018 and 2019. In addition, the title of the German Champion 2018 and the subsequent big celebration in the stable with all friends and family. Likewise, the long trips to the tournaments in Saumur and Ebreichsdorf have always been a highlight. In addition, we made a team holiday in Spain in 2018, which provided unforgettable moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. What would you like to improve in vaulting?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A more transparent and structured derivation of the scores in all areas. You have to try to bring the standard criteria closer to the real demands of the sport. Our sport is on the right track, but there is still a lot to be done, especially with regard to the Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. If things do not go as planned, what Do you Do to motivate yourselves?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Our team has an unrestrained motivation. We all build each other up again. Each of us is always highly motivated. In addition, each of us had to cope with a few setbacks. You learn how to motivate yourself. For no one of us giving up is an option, we are all too ambitious for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Wie oft trainiert ihr? Und was?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Wir trainieren dreimal die Woche. Zweimal die Woche auf dem Pferd. Und einmal die Woche Krafttraining zus\u00e4tzlich. Dazu hat jeder seinen eigenen Trainingsplan, den er dreimal die Woche macht. Das Pferd wird zus\u00e4tzlich mehrmals die Woche geritten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trainieren tun wir haupts\u00e4chlich Ausdauer, Ganzk\u00f6rperkraft, Beweglichkeit und unsere Programme (Pflicht, K\u00fcr). Au\u00dferdem trainieren wir Ausdruck und machen mentales Training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Wie habt ihr euch als Team zusammengefunden?\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nachdem wir uns nach der Deutschen Meisterschaft dazu entschieden hatten unseren Winnie aus dem gro\u00dfen Sport aussteigen zu lassen, haben auch 2 Teammitglieder aufgeh\u00f6rt. Wir haben uns erst Ende Oktober neu zusammengefunden und das Team mit neuen Mitgliedern aufgef\u00fcllt. Wir hatten Gl\u00fcck, dass wir auf gute und erfahrene Voltigierer aus dem Juniorteam zur\u00fcckgreifen konnten. Zudem hat zeitgleich Kathrin Meyer bei uns angefragt. Durch die Umstrukturierung brauchten wir etwas Zeit um das neue Team auf das neue Pferd einzustellen. Schnell war aber klar, dass das neue Team super zusammenpasst. Wir unternehmen viel in der Freizeit zusammen und passen charakterlich super zusammen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. War es immer euer Ziel, im Spitzensport erfolgreich zu sein?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Der Kern dieser Mannschaft hat als Galopp-Schritt-Gruppe angefangen, damals hat Gesa auch noch mit voltigiert. Als Gesa 18 Jahre alt wurde, waren wir in der Leistungsklasse L, Gesa\u00a0musste die Gruppe verlassen und hat den Posten als Trainer und Longenf\u00fchrer \u00fcbernommen. In den folgenden Jahren waren wir dann sehr flei\u00dfig und sind Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr weiter aufgestiegen. Gesa hat an der Fachschule in Hohenhameln w\u00e4hrenddessen ihre Trainerscheine (Trainer A-Wettkampfsport) gemacht. In den Jahren 2009-2011 durften wir dann die Hannoverschen Farben auf dem M-Cup vertreten. Seit der Saison 2012 starten wir als S-Team und konnten uns seitdem jedes Jahr als Team f\u00fcr die Deutschen Meisterschaften qualifizieren. Die ersten beiden Jahre in Alsfeld und Verden hatte unser Wizaro noch etwas mit der Atmosph\u00e4re zu k\u00e4mpfen. Im Jahr 2015 haben wir uns mit unserer \u201eTatort-K\u00fcr\u201c erstmalig international gezeigt (CVI*** Esbjerg\/D\u00e4nemark 1. Platz)\u00a0und auch noch die Bronzemedaille auf der DM in Alsfeld ergattert. Durch Verletzungen bei den Voltigieren und auch dem Pferd in den Jahren 2016 und 2017 waren die Saisons etwas durchwachsen. Das Jahr 2018 war dann einmalig. Wie ihr seht, hat es sich bei uns so entwickelt. Ziel war es nicht immer, aber vor allem in den letzten Jahren waren wir schon auf die oberste Spitze fokussiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Was sind eure aktuellen Ziele? <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Diese Saison wollten wir an unsere alten Erfolge m\u00f6glichst ebenb\u00fcrtig ankn\u00fcpfen und zeigen, dass wir keine Eintagsfliege waren. Zudem m\u00f6chten wir gern ein Traditionsverein \u00fcber die n\u00e4chsten Jahre werden, der immer wieder an der Spitze mitspielen kann. Zudem wollen wir uns auch auf das Einzelvoltigieren im Nachwuchsbereich konzentrieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Was war euer lustigstes \/ sch\u00f6nstes Erlebnis zusammen?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Dazu z\u00e4hlen auf jeden Fall der Sieg beim CHIO Aachen 2018 und 2019. Zudem der Titel des Deutschen Meisters 2018 und die anschlie\u00dfende gro\u00dfe Feier im Stall mit allen Freunden und Familie. Ebenso die langen Fahrten zu den Turnieren in Saumur und Ebreichsdorf sind immer ein Highlight gewesen. Au\u00dferdem haben wir 2018 einem Teamurlaub in Spanien gemacht, der unvergessliche Momente geboten hat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Was w\u00fcrdet ihr im Voltigiersport verbessern oder euch w\u00fcnschen?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Eine transparentere und strukturiertere Herleitung der Noten in allen Bereichen. Man muss versuchen, die Richtkriterien n\u00e4her an die reellen Anforderungen des Sportes zu bringen. Unser Sport befindet sich auf dem richtigen Weg, aber es muss noch etwas passieren, vor allem im Hinblick auf Olympia.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Wenn es mal nicht so klappt, wie geplant, was baut euch wieder auf?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Unsere Mannschaft hat eine ungebremste Motivation. Wir bauen uns alle gegenseitig wieder auf. Jeder von uns ist immer hoch motiviert. Zudem hatte jeder von uns schon ein paar R\u00fcckschl\u00e4ge zu verkraften. Man lernt wie man sich motivieren kann. F\u00fcr niemandem von uns ist Aufgeben eine Option, daf\u00fcr sind wir alle zu ehrgeizig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
